The application for proof test and maintenance routine management:
User definable functionality for their business needs
Flexibility to complement an existing maintenance system
Total maintenance management capability if required
Manages test and maintenance routines for any equipment
Assign appropriate test/maintenance procedure to routines
Float and priority can be applied to routines
Apply base date for scheduling to individual routines
User defined the ‘look-ahead’ scheduling time for planning
Provides an audit trail of test and maintenance history
Performs reliability analysis based upon test results
Stand-alone or integrated seamlessly with the AIM SILClass™ and SILLopa™ tools

The SILLife™ ‘front end’ application contains the following functionality:
Each function list item can have a number of associated test routines (proof tests) e.g. a function consisting of a pressure transmitter, logic solver and valve may have separate proof tests for each component each with different test intervals. In addition, a valve could have a partial closure test, a full closure test and a leak-off test for with a different test interval.

Each function can have a number of associated maintenance routines defined separately from a proof test routine, an example might be regular cleaning of the lens of an infra-red flame detector.

Testing/Maintenance or breakdowns can result in remedial work and this can also be scheduled, recorded, and tracked by the application.

A full audit trail of test/maintenance and remedial work history is available for each function and equipment reliability may be analysed down to tag level.

User defined references to formal Performance Standards for the equipment if required and pre-defined operational ‘contingency plans’ or risk assessments can be made available for review by maintenance and operations staff to help decide the course of action on test failure.

Multiple ‘document type’ references for each function (e.g. ‘word’ documents, spreadsheets, drawings etc) can be attached or linked and viewed as required.

Comprehensive searching, sorting, analysis and report printing is provided.

Other available features include the ability to:
Produce/print/export Job Cards
System ‘roll up’ of multiple test types
Assign appropriate test/maintenance procedures to any routine
Spreadsheet import from other systems/databases
Schedule test and maintenance routines
Define the ‘look-ahead’ scheduling
Apply base date for scheduling
Enter results of proof tests/maintenance or remedial work
Apply float and priority to routines
Perform reliability analysis based upon test results

The following three access levels are provided:
1. Administrator to add users and allocate their passwords.
2. Individual user level for specified databases to which user access is granted with full editing capability of any functionality.
3. Read only access for viewing data and running reports.
